Goose and Duck Shooting

Scotland

Safari in Scotland

Aberdeenshire in North East Scotland is widely known as the number One Goose shooting area in the UK. Over 60,000 Pinkfoot and Graylag geese arrive in Aberdeenshire in the last weeks of September. They spend the whole winter and spring in the area before departing back to nest in Iceland in April.

Safari in Scotland has built up contact with over 200 farmers and landowners and has exclusive rights to shoot the geese. As you will see in the photo gallery on there Website  every year all our clients shoot plenty of geese, during the 2002/2003 season our clients shot over 4000 geese.

Duck Shooting

Safari in Scotland has 23 Duck flighting ponds which are fed each day, each of the ponds can accommodate up to 6 hunters and an average 12 to 40 ducks are shot each night.

Driven Wild Duck and Snipe. For groups of 6 to 8 people shooting 30 to 60 birds per day.

Please remember that these are wild birds and we cannot guarantee precise numbers of birds but with our record we usually provide hunters with the opportunity of exciting shooting.

Sporting Safari Scotland

At Sporting Safaris Scotland we have some of the prime goose shooting Scotland has to offer. We carry out our prime goose shooting around one of the largest goose roosts in Scotland.

The geese will be roosting on the Montrose Basin. The Montrose Basin usually holds around 60,000 geese from the 2nd week in September till early November, then holds anything from 10,000 to 15,000 geese throughout the rest of the season.

Over the past three to four years Sporting Safaris Scotland have had access to top quality duck ponds in the central and east of Scotland areas. All duck ponds are on good quality farmland. All ducks are wild and every effort is made to make sure that clients have a very good shooting experience. Please contact Lee Robb 07727014894 or visit there website
